I'm taking a month off
I'm taking the month of June off.
Try not to look so shocked.
I love social media and I love blogging, but honestly I need to take a step back and refocus.
My days are filled with little ones and household chores, and with this beautiful weather after a very long winter- I want us to be outside every minute possible.
I will be back. I promise. I have lots to say. But I need to shut down the distractions and just enjoy the moments in front of me for a while. My children are learning and growing so much every day. I don't want to miss a second of it all. So while I work on balancing and juggling and whatever other metaphor applies- I hope you will be back in July for some more Everything and Nothing from Essex. I didn't want to take a break because I was afraid I would lose some of you. I have worked really hard to build up a reader base, and I didn't want to give up on that because you are all wonderful. But I need a break too much to worry about that sort of thing right now. I hope you'll be back. But even if not- this is too important to not take the risk.
So goodbye Facebook, blogging, IG (I might still post an occasional pic on IG), Twitter…I will see you all in July. I have some babies to love on. (and yes- I ended that with a preposition. That's the kind of thing you can do when you're on a break.)
Like peanut butter on the fingers of a curious toddler, this post is begging to be shared.
