Nest Egg Ring
(don't be alarmed...I was parked when I took this picture...ignore the lighted D...deceiving)
So whenever I leave my kids with a sitter and go off to write for a few hours, or I drag them both along for yet another Costco trip and feel like I probably have cereal bar on my neck, I glance down at my nest egg ring and feel less guilty about needing to take a break (because I "take them with me") and feel more stylish even in the messiness of day-to-day mothering. (wow that's a long sentence)
The short of it all? I freaking love this ring. And everywhere I go I get comments on it which definitely distracts from the cereal-bar-on-the-neck train wreck I'm usually sporting as well.
But why-oh-why am I bragging about my newest accessory? Melodyjoy1983 (the etsy shop owner) has graciously offered to give away one of these rings (or you can get it as a necklace as well) to one of you amazing EANFE readers. Yes, you.
I know that some of you share my blog quite frequently (and I LOVE you for it!), but I also know that there are a lot of you that have never before seen the need to click any of those not-so-subtle "shareaholic" buttons at the button of each post. Well, today I am giving you a reason.
Share one of EANFE's October blog series posts- you pick which one- and you will be entered into the drawing to win one of these rings (or necklaces). You can share a new post every day for the next week and earn an extra entry each time (just make sure you come back here to record your entry). If you have already shared EANFE's October blog series on your blog, that totally counts for the blog entry. In sharing, you are celebrating Down syndrome awareness month, and helping out an ol' blog buddy at the same time. win/win
This giveaway will end October 25th- so get your entries in while you can! From a wanna-be-writer-who-needs-publicity-to-ensnare-a-publisher, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. (And even if you choose not to share, I still thank you because you are here reading right now and that means a lot to me! a Rafflecopter giveaway
Like peanut butter on the fingers of a curious toddler, this post is begging to be shared.
