Helping Olga

Giving. One of my all time favorite things about Christmas. Searching for the gift that you imagine will light up your loved one's eyes with excitement and disbelief that you were able to procure exactly what they wanted.

Sometimes our giving comes in a different form. Sometimes the best kind of giving is giving to someone you don't know, will probably never meet, but have the unique opportunity to dramatically change their life for the better. There are so many charities and causes out there that at times it is difficult to choose where to direct our attention. Oftentimes it seems too overwhelming, and as a result, we give to none of them. I know I am guilty of this.

Today I am passing along a friend's post

Lily's Mom, Patti shares on this post how you can help change an orphan's life (Olga). Abandoned because she has that extra magical chromosome, there are funds needed for her adoption. Read her post for more details.

I know that this time of year is often tight financially (believe me, I know). But even if everyone who reads all of the combined blogs who are posting about this orphan even just contributes $5, a difference will have been made.

Please be part of saving Olga's life!
